Hi Joan,

I am sorry to hear about your mother. When my mother was in her 80's,

she developed a swallowing problem, what would happen is she would

appear to be choking, but wasn't. The food just wouldn't go down. But my

mother didn't have CMT, so this probably isn't going to help you. One of

my mother's doctors said it had something to do with reflux action.
