This Christmas we will not only be without our daughters but also a

dear friend who passed away last christmas day. This dear friend was

only 27 and is our sons godfather.

The other day I was speaking to his 24 year old widowed wife and she

was telling me that the grief counsellor she goes to was saying that

the lead up to a special day like christmas or an anniversay is

usually worse than the actual day.

She says the anticipation and worrying about how you think it will

feel is often a lot worse than the day itself.

I don't yet know if this is true, but I hope so and just thought I'd

share it with you all especially the other mummy's and daddy's who

will be missing their little ones this christmas.

Love

Elaine

Abdominal Cerclage placed 2 Dec 2003 – now to TTC.

Matt 20 mths – emergency vag/cerl 24 wks, 11 weeks bed rest then

delivered 35 wks PROM and cord prolapse.

Paige and Amy – preventative vag/cerl 14 wks, delivered alive 20 wks,

passed away short time later wrapped in my arms.

Babies were suffering from chronic Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome

(TTTS). Unsure whether I/C, TTTS or infection caused contractions,

which resulted in cervix dilating and stitch to fail.
