Guest guest
Hi , Hi , its funny you say boys because our cranio facial plastic surgeon said he found boys were more likely to have brachy because they seemed content to suck on their bottle and stare at the ceiling (thus flattening the back of their head nice and evenly). he also said children with larger heads were more likely to have plagio/brachy which makes sense to me (the bottle part didn't). my daughter had brachy, she was born with a normal head 50th percentile, but grew to 90th percentile by 6 mo (which made us check for other problems). I think all that extra growth at the period when she was spending more time on her head was the reason she ended up with brachy. (she's 90% in height and weight, and everything is normal) Boy babies are generally larger than girls, so they could be more squished in the uterus and more prone to plagio - but I'm totally making that up. -christine sydney 16 mo starband grad btw sydney's birthmom is 5'4 " and hardly looked pregnant when she delivered sydney at 8lbs 2 oz. > > > > >>>>>> > > > > > >>>>>> > Hi, > > > > >>>>>> > I am a graduate nursing student in Southern > California.
