Not a dumb question at all. Unfortunately I don't have an answer. I know

that some people who are allergic to eggs can't touch eggshells. I would

call your allergist and ask. There might be a protein in the shell that she

would react to. You could always let her color them but wear gloves

(rubber, latex or what ever).

Sam is anaphylactic to egg- and I've never really considered this.

I'm guessing that for now........we will NOT do it. Last year we hid

plastic eggs, although we did let dd's dye eggs.

This year, not sure what we'll do. I'm guessing that for us at least, it

isn't worth the risk- in case one would break- or have

cross cont. from another egg that might have broken before being put in the

stores!

Not a dumb question at all! I'm sorry I can't help you, but that's what I love about this group, someone will be able to. Sharing of information is awesome here. There's so much I don't know, and so much I learn all the time by reading everyone's posts.
