Guest guest
Oh, and let's not forget the 4-6 ounces of water. Re: protein shakes I actually like my shakes sweet. Guest guest
, Add some type of flavoring that contains no sugar or sugar substitute; e.g., koolaid powder, extracts, or the Flavor Mate drops that vitalady sell, or Flavour Creations tabs. None of these contain a sweet taste and I use them in my vanilla PB55 for variations. I also add frozen peaches or strawberries (only a couple though). Guest guest
I was just teasing Felicia, I agree with everything you say. I adore for everything she has done for people here. I hope to get to meet her this summer when she passes through the Pittsburgh area. I know I am a slow loser, but I won't give up my shakes. I am not tired, and I feel good at 6 months, and I know the difference in how I feel when I go without my shakes. I get in 3 and 4 a day right now. I am having my first labs done tomorrow. I sure hope they are good. I don't want to be a gray ghost. I will keep doing my shakes and taking my vit's. I believe in this. I don't want to fail. Guest guest
And then we went back to our room and banged out heads against the wall 7 cried. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. T www.vitalady.com If you are interested in PayPal, please click here: https://www.paypal.com/affil/pal=orders%40vitalady.com Re: Protein shakes Amen! The first time I saw I almost fainted. It was like looking into a mirror (and no, we don't look anything alike). We both had real skin. I mean glowing, goodlooking skin. We neither one were covered with bruises or sores which never heal. We both had bright, alert eyes, thick, shiny hair. We had pep and a certain " something " that seems to be missing from most traditional post-ops. The funny thing is, we were at the ASBS conference, which, at least back in 2001, seemed to be a breeding ground for a lot of failed post- ops who were in the, " Help me! This is my last chance! " stage. So and I kept walking around for a week, listening to comments from surgeons like, " No way you two had surgery. You don't LOOK like a post-ops! " Which is a big CLUE for people right there. Surgeons aren't used to post-ops who look HEALTHY. What is wrong with this picture??? Anyway, even though we were a big hit at the conference, I still heard too much whining. I can't even count the number of times that the overweight, tired, gray ghost said to me, " You know, you look fabulous, and it's clear that you're a success, but I just don't believe that the water/protein shakes/vitamins (insert your own healthbooster here) have anything to do with it. I just know you're wrong. After all, wouldn't ALL of these surgeons right here, in this room, be promoting this stuff if you were right? Thousands of surgeons can't be wrong, and I just can't disobey my surgeon. " Whatever. Have a good life. I just smiled and walked away. > When I started researching WLS, I looked around, found VitaLady, went down to her place to pick up an order, saw her and thought, " I want what she's got " .
