week I am going to go back to my home church and light candles. I will light

Hello all,

I have just come back from the doc's office. My

cervix measures 4 cm.

There are no signs of funneling or shortening.

This is such good news

for us. We were 3.6 last month and now 4. The baby

is looking great

also. The heart beat has been in the 150's. We do

not know what the sex

is. I have no feelings towards it. I would like a

girl but as long as it

is healthy I do not care. I am able to sit up. I

was told to hang out in

house. I am able to go out once a week. I do

have to start taking

progesterone shots at 1cc. with oil once a

week. They have ordered 16

shots. I think this is a lot. Don't you? Has

anyone received these shots

before? What are your feeling towards them? He

told me that this shot is

used to stop PTL from happening and to help the

lungs to develop. It is

new and there is not that much research out there

on this type of shot

used for this reason. There are no side effects

however he does not know

what the effects could be twenty years from now.

This worries me in a

way. Any advice?
