Guest guest Posted February 26, 2003 Report Share Posted February 26, 2003 Hi all, Debbi in Ohio here, I saw the gastrointerologist today, you might remember me writing last week about having to have an endoscopy and gastro emptying test. I had the tests and got the results today. My endoscopy showed a normal pouch and normal stoma, no staple line disruption. My gastro emptying test showed my pouch is non functional, it is not holding food at all, food passes from my esophagus, to pouch, through stoma to small intestine like water going down a clear sink. Gastrointerologist said he does not know of anything he can do, but wants me to go back to weight loss surgeon to see if there is something he can do. I have an appt tomorrow. No wonder I have never felt full, from day one. this is very frustrating disturbing news to me, I am not sure my surgeon can do anything... I will let you know the outcome.
