I have noticed after hours of drinking a shake that the taste comes back in my mouth (does keep sweet cravings away) but does this happen to anyone else? It is like when you take certain vitamins and they stay with you and smell through your pores of your skin. When going to my pre-ops I asked if I could take just shakes to build up the last two days (clear solids out of my system too this way)They said it was fine and up to me if I wanted to do this. What does everyone think about doing this??? Also they told me to stop taking all minerals and vits the day after my pre-ops and I have done so except for what I get in the shakes. Is that ok to take what is in the shakes prior to surgery???
