Guest guest
Thank you for the information. Just to clarify, it is my understanding that none of the states in the Northeast are included in this count. Is that correct? Thanks, Giulia Earle- Northeast Center ----- Original Message ----- From: <tarcury@...> < egroups> Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2000 7:28 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Demographics for California Farmworkers?? > Alice Larson (las@...) is preparing state by state estimates of migrant and > seasonal farmworkers for the Migrant Health Program, Bureau of Primary Health Care. > > Yours, > > Tom Arcury > > Ale Rincon wrote: > > > I am trying to put together a presentation on > > California's farmworker population and I need > > demographics specific to this state. Guest guest
You would have to check with others on this. I do know that the southeast is included -- I have reviewed drafts of the report for North Carolina. Tom Arcury Giulia Earle- wrote: > Thank you for the information. Guest guest
Alejandrina, There is some good demographic information on the California Rural Health Policy Council Web site: http://www.ruralhealth.ca.gov/demographics/ Good luck in your search. Also, folks on this listserve may be interested in a report that we (Pesticide Action Network) published last year together with the United Farm Workers and California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation entitled, " Fields of Poison: California Farmworkers and Pesticides. " The full text (in Spanish and English) is available on our Web site (www.panna.org/panna). You can also contact us if you would like a hard copy. - Margaret Reeves >I am trying to put together a presentation on >California's farmworker population and I need >demographics specific to this state.
