Guest guest
Ianda Sorry your going through this at the moment. First things first you need to do the test. You may not be pg and if not you can stop worrying. If you are pg you need to see your DR to see what can be done to help. Please go and get the test. We can't help in any medical way here but we can help you cope emotionally. Come back and tell us the result. Guest guest
I simply don´t know what to think, to do, and I´m afraid to talk about it with everyone, except from you. What do you think??? Any advice on what to do??? Ianda, I know that you're scared to death, but you need to find out if you're pg or not. I'd go out and get a pg test and just do it. If you are pg, you need to get that abdominal cerclage placed ASAP and there would be no time to waste. HUGS! Know that we're all here, holding your hand for you. Guest guest
Ianda, I know you decided a pre-pregnancy cerclage was right for you but having one when you're prego isn't that bad....ask the grads who have had it done. Don't think about when the Dr's say is OK to conceive, your body is telling you now is the right time! Everything will be OK...and just think, this time you have us! Guest guest
((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))) Ianda I'm sorry to hear you are going through all of this. I have to agree with the others though, you need to do an HPT just in case. If you are pg you need to get to a doc asap and discuss the ab cerc. I think it was Kateri that had hers done at 9w pg so if you are I would find a doc and insist that it is done earlier because of your history. Blessings and please let us know what happens Shona ianda.lopes.silva@... wrote: Hi Girls I joined this group one month ago, after loosing my second baby at 11w. Guest guest
Hi Landa I am so sorry for your losses. You sound like you are still very emotional and being scared is part of the whole process. I am still very scared since my last loss of 20 weeks in March. Just take some time and pray about it. Take a pg test and if you are pg - then go to your doc so you may start taking preventive meds and planning for the cerclage. Do not get too worried until you know for sure you are pg. If you are not, then you know that you want to take some time to heal all wounds. From my experience, it has gotten a bit harder as the months pass. The saying that time heals all wounds is probably true to some extent. I know that as months passed, I hurt more than the few months after my angels passed on. Maybe the symptoms are that your period will soon arrive. Just take the test and if you are not pg your mind will relax and your period will follow soon after. Lots of love to you both. rosie
Guest guest
Hi Ianda Sorry for ur losses. Please do the test as per everybodys adivce. I think you should have a blood test to be sure though. Since you haven't got your periods yet, your hormones might not be in place. Any HPT's with 20/25miu might turn up positive. Please let us know... Good luck Meena
Guest guest
Please do a pregnancy test right away. You just never know when you might have ovulated. If negative have them start your period. I did not get a period on my own after our last m/c and had to take Provera after 10 weeks of no period. Love, P. I was scheduled a vaginal cerclage to be placed at 12w, but it never happened. I started to dilate earlier than what is the " standard " - at 9 w - and ended up having a miscarriage because of an infection, due to the cervix opened. My doc told me that the next time I would need an earlier cerclage and prophylactic antibiotics. I was devasted. 2003 is being a very difficult year to me. I lost my son at 23 weeks last February and in August, when I thought everything would be fine, this miscarriage. I joined this group, got a lot of information and was decided to ask for a pre pregnancy ab cerclage and of course the antibiotics on the next pregnancy. But, I was only planning another pregnancy for next year. My husband and I need some recover (mentally and physically) from this two losses. Now, it´s been 50 days since my miscarriage and my menses didn´t show up. My hb and I only had sex once since them, but it was unprotected sex. I´m starting to feel pregnancy symptoms and I don´t know if I´m just becoming crazy or if there is a real possibility that I´m pregnant again. I´m so afraid, that I don´t have the courage even to do a HPT or to call my doctor .. I want a baby very hard, but I´m still so sad, and scared... Also, I don´t think it is good to get pregnant without any normal period after a miscarriage? I simply don´t know what to think, to do, and I´m afraid to talk about it with everyone, except from you. Guest guest
Hi Girls, Thanks so much for your help. I´m really happy that I have found you and that I feel you are with me this time. Rosie, , Meena, Shona, Kateri, Kara, Elaine... you are really wonderful and I´m lucky to know you all. I´ve called my doc and he told me to wait until monday morning to do a blood HCG. He thinks if I´m preg. and do a HPT today I can have a false negative, so it´s better to wait until monday (and at the end of the day it´s just the weekend...) and do a blood exam, which is more precise. I´ll do it monday morning (of course if my period does not show up on the weekend) and will let you know as soon as I have the results. Love and have a good weekend you all Ianda This message is for the designated recipient only and may contain privileged, proprietary, or otherwise private information. Guest guest
Take a OTC pregnancy test or go in for a beta hCG to know for sure. It is possible that all the stress and worry about possibly being pregnant is preventing you from cycling. Good luck, Chele :-)
