LOSS MENTIONED and STUPID PERSON...........

DH and I went to his christmas breakup today. I was talking with a

woman probably late 50's. I already thought this woman was a bit

over bearing you know the type - knows everything, her way to raise

kids is the only way etc etc.

Anyway she asked me how many children I had, I don't know her very

well so decided to say 1. She mentioned that she had all sons and

longed for a daughter. So I told her I'd just lost twin girls.

She said how old is your son, I said 19 mths...

Here comes the shocking bit...

She said oh, well you wouldn't have really wanted them (the twins)

anyway. Implying that I wouldn't really want 3 so close together.

I was outraged and said well actually I did want them, and very

badly, I've wanted identical twins since I was 6 yrs old. Then I got

upset and left.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT........

The next shock is this woman lost her 1st child 30 odd years ago. He

died 1 hour after birth and she still said this to me. My DH was

like well maybe thats her way and her age, but no way. As far as I'm

concerned nobody should ever say anything like that there are no

excuses.

My DH was so worried I was going to say something. He knows I'm not

usually confrontational but like he said you don't usually have two

babies die in your arms. But I wouldn't have said anything, I just

think she is the stupidest person.

Thank you for letting me get that off my chest. I'm still really

choaked up about it, I don't think I'll be forgetting that one for

awhile.

PG dust to the TTC's and

Keep cooking to the pregnant mummies.

delivered 35 wks PROM and cord prolapse.

Paige and Amy – preventative vag/cerl 14 wks, delivered alive 20 wks,

passed away short time later wrapped in my arms.

Babies were suffering from chronic Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome

(TTTS). Unsure whether I/C, TTTS or infection caused contractions,

which resulted in cervix dilating and stitch to fail.
