What was for breakfast yesterday?

Pancakes

How is the weather right now?

Windy. We were without power for a couple of hours until the power company

could come out and remove some tree branches and fix a line. We are expected

to get at least 18 inches of snow overnight.

What is something about your kid/kids that you are thankful for?

That for the most part they are so easy going. I'm sick with a nasty

cold/sinus infection and havn't felt like doing anything the last couple of

days. They didn't complain when I said we weren't going to friends for New

Year's Eve and they were thrilled when we went to my parents today so I

could sleep for a couple of hours.

What was the most favorite part of your day yesterday?

Dh promised he would wake the kids up at midnight. He brought them into the

living room to watch the ball drop in times square about 5 min before the

big event. By the time 12:00 rolled around Drew had crawled back into bed

and Mattie was sleeping sitting up. I laughed so hard I had a coughing fit

and thought I was going to pass out but man it was worth it. Dh was so

annoyed that the rest of us were such party poopers. heehee

Drew, 7.5 years, anaphylactic to peanuts, allergic to dogs, environmental

allergies, severe eczema, outgrown dairy!

Mattie, 5 years, no known allergies

, 18 months, no known allergies but avoiding all nuts until she is much

older!

Hi ,

I didn't even see the ball drop in times square, I slept right through it. Couldn't believe I did that. Woke up at four in the morning when it was over.
