Rice was just white rice, about 1/2 package of frozen peas and carrots, some broccoli, a ham steak cut up into cubes, a couple of eggs scrambled and a package of seasoning from the store. He likes to sleep with his mouth open (I'm assuming because of swollen adenoids which are now gone) so his throat gets really dry at about midnight and six am. Pain meds are working on pain but do nothing to make him drowsy (that Tylenol w/codeine should knock him out but nope. Just pain free and cranky. LOL). Overall things are so much better than expected. I knew he was either going to be a total mess or it wasn't going to be too bad. What was for breakfast yesterday? No one ever has the same thing for breakfast. Some of us ate oatmeal and the rest had bagels. How is the weather right now? Turning cold this week with high's in the teens. What is something about your kid/kids that you are thankful for? My two girls are becoming more self sufficient, so that takes some pressure off me. Ethan is at such a great age. Everything he does is so funny. What was the most favorite part of your day yesterday? Quiet day at home with the family. I got all my chores done yesterday, so I was able to spend a lot of time with Ethan today (dh was back to work and girls' went back to school).
