Guest guest
No, 12 months is not the oldest to correct this but I wouldn't wait till then. We banded at 7.5 months and are very pleased with the results. The younger you get starter the quicker that your child will be done as the head is more moldable/soft. Yes, it is overwhelming and confusing especially since everyone else passed it off as no big deal or it will round out. There are so many different types of bands. We had the DOC band from Cranial Technologies but I've heard success from Star Band (Ortho America) and Hanger (those are all active). There is a lot of controversary (or so it seems in my opinion as to what an active band and a passive band are). I think the difference is that an active band applies mild pressures and the passive doesn't. I could be completely wrong on that. Good luck. > > > > > > > > All this info is great--but so overwhelming and confusing! > > > > > > > > My son is almost 8 months old.
