Guest guest
I have been out of the hospital since Wednesday afternoon and after weeding through most of the 400 or so messages in my mailbox, a few at a time, because of vision problems as a result of my sinus surgery on Tuesday, I have unsubscribed everybody that has asked to be unsubscribed to the list. I have always said that if anybody had any problems with their subscription to the list, to please contact me and I would take care of it. It is very easy for me to subscribe, unsubscribe, change from normal to digest and visa versa by going to my Moderator's page. It can be done on my end with one click of the mouse, so when I get a request, I take care of it. So, you can all just relax and not worry about it, as anybody's name that you have seen come through here asking to be taken off of the list has been removed as requested by them. I have a lot of things going on in my mind right now about the list this last week or so after reading some of the posts, but I am not going to go into my thoughts about this stuff right now because I have more pertinent problems to deal with in recovering from this recent surgery and illness. All I can say at this point is that I'm not too happy being the Facilitator of this list at this point in time and I am considering giving up my position. I need to give it some more thought when my head is a little clearer, which it is far from right now. All I can ask at this point is that we all act like the adults that we are and respect each other's wishes and pay attention to where you are sending your messages. These one-liners directed basically to one person need to do just that, go to that one person, not the whole list, as it does waste a lot of time a space filling up people's mailboxes and hard drives where that is not necessary, and in this day and time, time is of the essence for many, there just doesn't seem to be enough of it anyway. I will follow up with a post in a few days after giving all of this stuff some thought, and hopefully, my vision will clear up enough that I can spend a little more time on the computer myself. Ninette, there is no need for any apologies, as you were only repeating something that I have written to people dozens of times before. One of the reasons that I agreed to take over this forum from was to keep it going because of the support that it did give to everyone, and still pretty much does. But, somewhere along the line, something has happened that has changed this group somewhat. I don't know whether or not it is something that I have done or said or not done or said, but we need to get back to our original cause for having this group: support. Enough said for now..... Guest guest
Jodi, Don't worry about this bunch, we always seem to be in a " discussion " about some thing or another...just some are move volitle than others. You just concentrate on getting well. We need you too much and also this group to keep us sane and together through all the ups and downs. Guest guest
Jodi, How are you? I tried calling you on Saturday to see how you were doing? Did Kerry get home safely? How was your weekend alone? What did you do? Did you do some sewing? I know that your appt here is the 12th. I believe that you have two others. Is that coming up? I think you mentioned the 16th? I hope you are doing well and Kerry is home. How do you like the bike? Let me know what you are going to do for the appt on the 12th? if you two stop by I can have Christian pick up lunch this time. However I need to make sure that he does not have a meeting. He always has one on Monday’s. I will chat with you later. I hope all is well with you two. God bless, Taryn
Guest guest
I use tropical traditions coconut oil. Everything I put it in tastes like coconut. I just eat it off the spoon now and then drink some water, like I;m taking a pill. In smoothies I always had small pieces of it that wouldn;t blend. Guest guest
Katy, Tropical Traditions is pretty potent stuff- which label do you buy? You should get the coconut oil to be totally liquid- what's probably happening is that it is hitting cold ingredients and therefor solidifying. Coconut oil is very sensitive to temperature. I hate it when it becomes chunky. Also, forget the company name- the guy who makes Primal Defense- his coconut oil is super potent as well.
