Guest guest
Hello all! I don't post often, but I have been counting my blessings today and thought I would share some of them. I have been blessed with friends, both old and new. I have a few that I have known since childhood and as a young adult. My daughter is doing a wonderful job of raising my two grandsons. They are the greatest blessings in my life. I had two wonderful parents that were anchors during my life. I am grateful to have had them until the age of 50. Many of my friends were much younger when they lost their parents. Being a single mother, life was hard. But the Good Lord was always with me, and He helped me through. At 52, I am grateful to be as healthy as I am. No diabetes or BP problems. Most of my health probs are joints, arthritis and the beginnings of breathing problems. All of which should be much better after some weight loss. At this time, I weight 380. Last week I found out my insurance approved my surgery. Now I am waiting for the doctor to sign off on my chart. If there are no more tests he wants me to have, I will then be ready for scheduling. If all goes well, I could have my surgery in May. The last, but not certainly not least, blessing I would like to share - is the support I get from all of you. The support groups are such a great help. No matter what the problem, it can be shared and talked about. Sometimes, just knowing others are having the same problems makes everything better. So, thank you all for being there. Happy Easter and may the Good Lord Bless you all and keep you close. D.
