Guest guest
Just heard from DH...he got his results from the last SA he had done last week. It looks like the changes we have been making have done some good. No caffeine, vitamins, herbs, boxers, no baths. The urologist told DH that the numbers are in the low end of normal, but still normal and within range. We're going ahead with the plan for medicated IUI in Jan or Feb. This is big. I mean really big...because they told us that we would have to do IVF with ICSI because of morphology being so low (1%). We never had plans to do that. Now we can do IUI. Chele :-) I am so excited!!! (I don't know what "with a score of 160 refers to...does anyone here? That is what DH jotted down while he was on the phone with the urologist) Dec 03: Volume: 3mL Concentration: 77.7 mil/ml Motility: 55% with a score of 160. Guest guest
I am not sure what all the numbers mean but I read that the changes are helping. That is great news. Does this mean he does not need to have the surgery? Does this mean that you are ttc? I wish I understand what it meant. I feel so stupid not understand. I hope it all is going well. I wish the best fof you. God bless, Taryn DH's Latest SA results Just heard from DH...he got his results from the last SA he had done last week. I wish the best fof you. Taryn, We have been TTC for three years. ;-) We're ALWAYS TTC. lol To have a possibility of pregnancy, we need treatment because of his issues and mine (PCO). What these results mean is that we can go ahead with treatment asap (in a couple months) as opposed to waiting another 6 months at least (for DH to have surgery and recover, then have the numbers go back up again). Yes, he will still probably have the surgery because of the fact that he is uncomfortable at times, but we won't have to wait for that first. I will be 37 in April and I feel that time is of the essence. Thanks for the well wishes, everyone! Chele :-)
Guest guest
Chele, I'm so happy for you! Hope that takes a load off your mind! I haven't been around a lot lately...Will has the flu and we've been dealing with that. He's getting better. He had the flu shot so we think that made his symptoms a lot less than they would have been. Although he did have a 104 fever on Tuesday morning. That's such great news you got. Sending you lods of baby dust for your IUI! Always, Kara > Just heard from DH...he got his results from the last SA he had done last week. Guest guest
Yay!!! Wonderful news Chele. Has he started eating a few pieces of walnut a day? It helps. Also the vitamin plain Geritol. These both helped my husband. , I remembered what you said about the walnuts and bought DH a BIG bag of them a few days ago. <grin> Chele

Guest guest
Kara, How scary. We have been so worried about Brayden getting the flu. I am glad Will is recovering. Brayden has not been able to have a flu shot because by the time he turned 6 months they were out of vaccines here. So, we have changed his wellness appt and immunizations until the middle of January. His pediatrician prefers not to see well patients right now to expose them because the flu and pneumonia are so severe and widespread right now. Thank goodness I had my flu shot because he is getting some of it through breast milk. I pray will is back to 100% for Christmas!!!!!
