Guest guest
Hi Kara, I remembered that you went to town. Which doctor did your surgery? I have only ever seen Jean Bolan (one time and I thought she was nasty although she has an excellent reputation). Then I started seeing my doctor and he has been wonderful. When I had the Shirodkar another doctor assisted but I am not sure which one - it all happened so quickly and I was out when the doctor did it and then he was gone before I woke up. I have also seen Dr. Pogy (sp - woman doctor) she was there when I lost my second son but was going off shift before I delivered. She seemed very nice. The doctor who handled my delivery which was terrible even without the fact that I knew my baby would not survive, was the B from hell. I hate her to this day and actually have intended to write a letter of complaint about her - she was Dr. West. I don't think though that she practices with my group - I think she was on call. The doctor who would do my ab cerclage is not with G-Town - he is Dr. Tchabo and my doctor has referred me to him for the surgery which he would do at G-Town with my doctor. My old ob who was the best but I can't go to anymore because she no longer takes our insurance said that Dr. Tchabo has an excellent reputation. If my doctor is gone and I don't like any of the other doctors then I'll just see if he'll handle my whole pregancy. If you remember your doctor let me know. How is Will doing? I have not seen any photos of him lately - do you put them in the folder? Melaine re: G-town ,Tell me who your Dr. refers you to a georgetown. I went to town for my congentital abnormality (2 cervixes and a septum through my uterus and vagina) and ultimately wound up having the surgery that caused my IC. I went into surgery with the idea he was going to do remove the septum to right above my cervix which would have probably kept both of my cervix intacked and able to handle a pregnancy on their own but I came out of surgery 6 hours later and he removed one of my cervixes and removed my septum completely. He decided against the advice of his colleages that he could make me LOOK normal reproductively but never took into account that I was 24 years old and would probably someday want children. And really do I care if my cervix looks normal, it would have been great if it had just worked on it's own.I did however have many great Dr's at G-town but I was referred to him because he was a chief of staff and had the most experience with congenital abnormalities.Always,KaraGraduate > > > > > > > > > > > > ______________________________________> This e-mail may contain confidential information and may be legally> privileged and is intended only for the person to whom it is addressed. Guest guest
Ah - I have not made it as far as 11/13 yet in catching up with my e-mails. I am down to about 400. Can't read anymore tonight - my eyes are closing. When I get to the one you sent I'll look and send a message - I just looked quickly tonight after reading about 200 more e-mails to see if you responded to my e-mail last night. I have never heard of Dr. Sanz - I don't think he is there anymore. I'll ask and let you know if I hear anything. Dr. Haney sounds great and Chele sounds like she has had a good repoire with him as well. More later, I am tired. Re: Melaine re: G-town Dr. Sanz was my Dr. and he was highly recommended by many very well known dr's. I don't know if he felt like he could "fix" me or what but what happended during my surgery isn't what I signed up for. I did so much research about him and thought that I was in really good hands. The thing is that he was a great Dr. before the surgery and his adivse and care was great but now I sometimes wonder if he made a mistake during the surgery and just tried to fix it. I know he didn't do what he intended to do and what the "plans" were. He had other cases similar to mine, very experienced in congenital abnormalities and they came out fine, I even talked to his other patients. I could dwell on it but I actually have decided to move one, I think the birth of Will has helped. One really great thing that came out of it was though that town referred me to Dr. Haney and without him I wouldn't have my Will!I posted pictures of Will last Thursday. Check the messages from 11/13, the messages title is Will at 9 months. He's doing so good! He's such a big boy and we just love him to pieces!Always,Kara > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ______________________________________> > This e-mail may contain confidential information and may be legally> > privileged and is intended only for the person to whom it is > addressed.
