Guest guest
We had a STARband but the procedure was the same – the specialist wrote us a prescription for the band and told us where we could go to get the band. It was then our responsibility to call and make an appointment for a consultation and scan. Once the scan was taken we received our band 12 days later. We probably could have received it sooner but we were out of town and couldn’t get in any sooner. We were able to get in the same week. It took about a week to make the helmet and then another few days to get an appointment for the first fitting once the helmet came in. So it was a week an a half from the first appointment at Hanger until we actually got the helmet. I'd call Hanger to try to make the appointment rather than wait for them to call you. > > does anyone know anything about the hanger prosthetics & orthotics or > the hanger cranial band, like how long does it take to have a helment > or band made be them and how long did it take before someone from > hanger called you for a appt. my babys docter seen her on 2/12/08 & i > tought i would have heard something by now from hanger but i haven't > and i would like to get the ball rolling if you know want i mean shes > going on 7 month & i know the earler the better ,i just would like to > know what others went thourgh thank and if some of the speeling is > wrong i'm sorry >
