Guest guest
Thanks so much . I just have to order some of this sugarlike. I have been meaning to get some for awhile. Is it safe for us to eat popcorn? Someone once told me we could never eat it again SO I have been afraid to go near it since surgery almost 6 months ago. What do you think? Guest guest
For some reason, popcorn is thought to be evil. TOO MUCH popcorn is evil of course. But occasional popcorn is probably the safest hand food I can think of. Esp. if you let them melt on your tongue & really suck the " experience " out of each kernel. (I'm scared to think what will happen to THAT sentence) That's what I use when I get the pacing-back-n-forth-gotta-munchies. Doesn't happen often, but at least it keeps from from a fruit binge or worse. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I have eaten it weekly since 6 months post op. Probably could have done it sooner but really didn't want it. Many of the gals in the support group I run eat popcorn too. It is a good source of fiber and if you use an air popper it has next to no calories. Amber/FL Re: OT sugar free candy.... is it safe? (I'm scared to think what will happen to THAT > sentence) Aw you know us all too well ;o) I'm not going to touch that one with a 10 foot pole LOL! I eat popcorn every now and again - I usually get a child's size bag when I go to the movies - and take half of it home. (And I always get the line " You know, for just .40 cents more you could get the regular and get so much more popcorn. " Why is it always about volume?) It sits just fine with me and it is quite filling in spite of it being a lot of hot air ) Sally 298 (BMI 49)/-117/181 Goal: 150 lap RNY 7/10/02 Dr. Quinlin/Pittsburgh
