Guest guest
Elaine, Me and DH are in the same point as you. He wanted to wait more time to ttc, but now, after the ab, he is more confident and agrees to ttc now. I want it very much, but I´m scared to death, as you may be too. Sometimes I wonder if I am corageous or crazy. Don´t know. But, I feel I have to do this, and waiting more time won´t really make much difference. So, here we go... I´m glad I´ll have you and all the group to support me during the difficult journey my next pregnancy is going to be. I´m sorry to ask, I don´t remember, how long ago did you lose your twins? I´ve had my last loss (at 11weeks) last August, 5th. About wanting a girl, I´ve read that there are ways to improve your chances to have a boy or a girl, by doing the bd on a certain date of your cicle. They say if you do it one or two days before your ovulation date, you improve your chances to have a girl. I don´t know if this works, but, as you want so much a girl, maybe you should give a try. Guest guest
Don’t feel bad. I wanted a boy and I knew from the start we wee having one. this pg I want of course a healthy baby but a girl would be nice. I saw how great my dad is with us girls (my sister and I) and I want a girl so my hd can experience that bond. Even know I am very close to my dad. I understand how you feel. It is nature to think these things. You are not being pushing with your wishes. I feel also since my sons death that if we have a girl our son will be the only boy and if we have another one I don’t want to think we forgot about him. God bless, Taryn We will probaby TTC straight away... As scary as it will be, my DH and I don't want to take any precautions against getting pg. Guest guest
I have heard hat if you get pg in a fast amount of time you will most likely have a boy. They say b/c the boy sperm is a faster swimmer but the girl sperm lives longer. If you do not have that much of a cervix I have heard that the sperms get there faster b/c there is shorter distance. Who knows if this is right. Taryn We will probaby TTC straight away... As scary as it will be, my DH and I don't want to take any precautions against getting pg. Guest guest
Yes I've read also that boy sperm swim faster than the girl sperm but the girl sperm live longer. They say if you want a boy then have intercourse when you ovulate but if you want a girl then have intercourse a few days before hand and then obstain until after you ovulate. It is subposed to work but I know someone who tried for a girl and got a boy so you can never really tell for sure. > I have heard hat if you get pg in a fast amount of time you will most > likely have a boy.
