Kathy....

I felt the exact same way you are feeling when I started. However, I did

find that with time -- a couple weeks, I became less sensitive to the smell,

and taste. Then I found one chocolate I liked, and started adding things to

it, and I find I really like it now with 1/3 a frozen bananna. Just hang in

there and keep trying each sample. When you find one you consider a B+ (my

method) keep using it until you are accustomed to it ... and believe me it

will happen.

Under any other circumstance, if the Mom refused treatment for her

birth, he survived on nothing but sheer determination and love from

his family.

Please don't tell me this is a true story??

How heartbreaking!

If I was the mother I would have demanded treatment or threatened to sue the

hospital.

I would have demanded an IV and have the baby air lifted to Miami Childrens...

As a mommy of a bigger preemie.... I would have requested ANYTHING and

EVERYTHING.

Of course here in Florida we have some awesome NICU's who consider a 23

weeker a challange and a way to ge in the medical journals..

Noah didn't have Apgars that high!

Noah needed assistance with breathing...

Noah didn't eat from a nipple for weeks...

and he was a 31 weeker!

Now I am sad and angry!

- Mommy to:

Noah - 10/14/02 - 31 weeker - 3lbs 11 oz

Jonah or Isabella - EDD 10/28/04

m/c 7/04

Open RNY 12/3/03 - 47 lbs gone and counting
