People tell me I'm paranoid, but this type of stuff happens all the time - it is sickening. DSS has a ton of power, and people have been trained to tattle and turn in their neighbors. ( " Dumbing Us Down " by Gatto is an excellent read and goes further into this). It is a lethal combination. My heart goes out to your friend. I am so glad she moved, because they would have eventually gotten her kids. Thank God she moved when she did! Yes, homeschooling is our right. We need to protect it.
