I am also in NY area and am looking to find a doctor I feel confident with. I had two loses in the 2nd trimester, the last one with failed Mc carcelage. My current doctor does not think I am a candidate for abdominal since my cervix is of normal length. Since I read your email, I feel a bit more optimistic that placing abd. carcelage vaginally may be something that is more possible for women like me. I have an appointment with Dr. Saltzman on Dec. 8th and will be asking him a lot of questions. Since you are already pregnant I am assuming that these two doctors (Saltzman and Rebarber) do their carcelage post conception. Did you meet both doctors or just one of them? I feel that I have to get as much info on all this as possible, in order to feel comfortable with the decision I make in the future. Thanks a lot for the input.
