The day after her first birthday, she took a bite of her brother's peanut butter ice cream. Within 15 minutes, one of her eyes was completely swollen. By the time we got to the emergency room, her other eye was starting to swell and she was wheezing. That was a little over a month ago. I spend most of the time that I am on the computer scouring the message boards at peanutallergy.com. We can't get in to see the allergist until April, so she has not been tested yet. I am still breastfeeding her, so I am on a peanut/tree nut free diet too. We live in Arkansas and I would love to find a support group if anyone knows of one.
