Guest guest
What did you have for dinner last night? Oh, how I hate this question! I am so embarrassed to answer because... Have to run to the store and pick up milk (no allergy there, thankfully) do some laundry and make time to sew!! ugh, I haven't gotten a chance all week and am dying for some "me time", ya know?? What hobbies, etc, does everyone her do to keep themselves sane and entertained??Have you seen a good movie lately? Nothing new here, anyone read a good book lately?? I think it would be neat to read a novel - not about food allergies, but with a central character that has some food allergies maybe?? Any one know of any?? Hope y'all are having a great day!! Catch ya later! ) Smiles, Duran ~*~Cherry Bubbins~*~ simply...charming! http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/durandl@.../
Guest guest
What did you have for dinner last night? We had spaghetti w/meat sauce What are your plans for today? Go shopping. Gymboree is having a pretty good sale so I'm going to stock up on some clothes for next year. I'm also looking for a armoire for the living room. Have you seen a good movie lately? I just saw Sweet Home Alabama. It was a cute hang out movie. I like the idea of a book about a character with allergies! KD
Guest guest
What hobbies, etc, does everyone her do to keep themselves sane and entertained?? This has been an ongoing struggle for me since becoming a SAHM. I don't make friends easily (social anxiety maybe) and am finding it tough to find folks who share my interests. I tried MOMS club and will not be renewing for a third year; nothing against the folks in it but we have absolutely nothing in common. I do participate in a very small spirituality group before church and plan to join a dog training club after the baby comes. Nothing new here, anyone read a good book lately?? I think it would be neat to read a novel - not about food allergies, but with a central character that has some food allergies maybe?? Any one know of any?? I dont' know of any novels with characters like that. I've been reading some Barbara s and enjoying those. Typically I read fantasy fiction or light sci-fi. Anne McCaffery, Moon, Barbara Hambly, Eddings and my all time favorite books are by Kerner. Guest guest
Don't be embarrassed for what you make your family! Sloppy Joes sound great!!! To keep myself entertained, I clean or check my email LOL! I like to do crafts and would like to learn to scrapbook..but I don't have much time. I would have to do it when the kids go to bed and by that time, I just want to sit and Veg! lol I haven't read a book in a long time. I love to read, but I get really involved and I don't want to put the book down lol..Therefore, I just read and read and read and the house falls around me! haha! I am actually waiting for the next Left Behind series book to come out. That is good questions though! I am going to add them to the daily questions! Guest guest
Alyssa! I thought I was the only mom, let alone SAHM, left on the planet that didn't scrap book! ROFL! I love creative things like that - and years ago before I even knew what scrapbooking was I used to do something similar, making layouts all on my puter, I'd print them and mail them to DH while he was TDY, lol. But alas, I already have to much on my plate and I'm sure my husband doesn't want me to take on yet another expensive and involved hobby! lol! I thought wow, that is so neat..It is a nice keepsake. I just can't do it lol..and yes, it is very expensive! When the kids go to bed, I want to sit and watch American Idol, or the Mole, or Survivor! LOL!!! I am also hooked on a show called Stargate Sg-1. My hubby got me hooked on that. lol! Alyssa Re: How are we?, 2/19/2003, Alyssa! Guest guest
You aren't alone, but I am perhaps the only one left who has zero interest! I enjoy crafty stuff, like beadwork and jewelry making and maybe even sewing if I ever get my own machine. And I do cardmaking, sort of, but just never got the scrapbooking bug. I sell stamps and scrapbooking stuff so I get a discount on that stuff. Good books, nothing that stands out. I read tons but I can't remember what I last read. LOLOL. I'll dig through my pile of books next to the bed and let you know what I've read. S.
