Guest guest
Karyn, Thank you for the list. Since I have been missing so much and have so much to catch up on this is nice. But I am not glad so many people are now seeking us out. Is it my imagination, or does it seem like more than " 'usual " is joining? I had a nurse tell me about a month ago that she has been dealing with more cp lately than she had in her 15 years of nursing before. She thinks it is all stress related. Just her thoughts. Hope you have a great day, Joy New Members Generally, the list of new members is not posted. Guest guest
Welcome to all the new comers, especially our new guy who is brave enough to face all of us females. Don't worry Jeff, there are several guys around here. Ask all of the questions you want, vent when you want and you should find the group pretty helpful. Guest guest
Hi all, There have been 2 new members that have joined. That now makes us a group of 4! Yay! It is growing! :-) Welcome to the new members! My name is Alyssa and I am the moderator of this group. I have a son who is 3 and a daughter who is 20 months. My son is anaphylactic to peanuts/nuts and is allergic to dairy and soy. The dairy and soy give him severe eczema. We have eliminated all dairy and soy and his skin really cleared up. There are some chemicle allergies as well I think. He has been breaking out with eczema on his hands and I am wondering about our hand soap. He has another allergist appointment on the 17 of October and I am very anxious for that. We read every ingredient and worry about cross contamination at all times. We have also decided to homeschool. is almost 4 and we have started preschool this year at home. He is really liking it. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all! Take Care and God bless you all on this very special day! Hugs, Alyssa Wife to Mother to (10/98) & (12/00)
Guest guest
Welcome Barb and . I am so sorry for your losses. Just jump in any time with questions. I had a failed rescue cerclage that was placed at 14 weeks. My cervix is a little short and is extremely weak. My first loss happened so quickly and I was not diagnosed until the 2nd pregnancy with IC. I had the ab cerclage placed at 11 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy and my miracle baby boy was born at 35.5 weeks after lots of bedrest and the ab cerclage. Love, P. Barb - I am sorry to hear of your first loss. Congratulations on your second child. Did you have an abdominal cerclage or a vaginal cerclage with your second child? Mandy > Welcome to Abbyloopers, Barb. > > Chele > Abbyloopers Moderator > > ********************************************************************** *************** > > > Hi, my name is Barb. I lost my first baby at 26 weeks due to IC, it was a girl delivered by emergency C-section, she lived for 17 1/2 hours. It was absolutely heartbreaking. In 1999 I became pregnant with my second child and had a cerclage placed at 13 weeks, my son was delivered at 38 weeks by scheduled C-section with no complications! I am now 15 weeks pregnant with my third child and am scheduled for my cerclage next Thursday. I automatically assumed that since all was well last time then it would be the same this time, but I've been reading some message boards where other people have had to go on bedrest and/or various medications. I'm looking for more information and support. > > I was referred to your group from the Sidelines High Risk Pregnancy Support Network website. > > I look forward to hearing from you! > > Barb
