Guest guest
Hmmm...., apparently, not everyone understands the post I put up the other day about 'religious' posts AND responding to them. Some people were away on vacation or dealing with the storm or were unable to have the opportunity to read the post on the message board. Not everyone receives individual emails-they choose to read the messages on the board. As for the responses to the 'religious' posts, I felt it was clear that if anyone had a problem with a post (any post), they were to contact me, or , privately. Either members do not comprehend that, or, choose to ignore it so they can say their peace. All the responses do, is add fuel to the fire. We are adults here, people, and should be able to follow managements requests about how to deal with any post that a member finds offensive. Getting your two cents in is doing more harm than good. The topic is diabetes, with its myriad of complications and frustrations. Let's not add to the angst of other members or ourselves. You find a post offensive in some manner-it is my job as moderator to address it, not yours. I hate to get heavy handed-it serves no one-but I don't want to see members leaving, who really get help from this board, because of errant remarks in a post and responses to those remarks. So, everyone take a deep breath, release it, and concentrate on putting the differences aside so we can help each other. Please!
