I stuck my self like the instructions told me with the spring loaded sticker. Couldn't get enough blood. Did it right where I was told. Took the lanclet out and stick it manually giving it a twist and sticking it in all the way. Guess what I need to say is I have extensive nerve and blood flow problems in my hands. I'm lucky don't have to say ouch cause I don't feel it. Second attempt to day I soaked my hands in warm water and this seems to be the solution unless someone has another idea. It is a little different than a regular lance, as it has a pump like action that makes it easier to draw a drop from anywhere. This means I can test on my arm, where there are few nerve endings, with out pain. 99% of the time. I have tested on my legs when I had shorts on, it was so much easier and my fingers get a rest. I know it is so much to get used to, but it doesn't take too long, and you will be the better for taking good care of yourself! Hugs, Marilyn Marilyn Moderator for Diabetic_Recipes dnevessr@...
