When given information that is not correct, it is damaging to their learning process. This is what I referred to as being a stumbling block. Marilyn, who are " they " ? The name of this group includes the word " international " - why do you persist in pushing US methods, US manners US recipes (using US ingredients), US politics and US religion at us as if we were all the same and all in agreement with you? Don't you have just a little tolerance for opinions other than your own? , to be honest, I can't see a problem here. If you do not wish to read those posts that seem to upset you, why don't you just hit delete? That is what anyone should do if a post is contrary to their belief, unless it is something that is incorrect and that could cause problems for another member. > I hope this has shown you if you > want to debate, do it off list > where it does not throw a monkey > wrench into their thought patterns. No, of course it hasn't - this is the place to debate diabetes, not a cooking group or a place for political and religious activists! Don't you think that perhaps it would be more appropriate, Marilyn, if you would take your recipes, politics and religion off this diabetes list, my dear, or at least tone them down a little instead of trying to shout everybody else down and dictate other people's " thought patterns " ? I have no intention of shout everybody else down or dictate others thought patterns. It is not I that seems to be eager for a showdown. I just wish to point out when I see something contrary to what is taught. I noticed that others also saw the inaccuracies. I see that you are out to be quarrelsome so I will back off until the list owner clarifies who it is that sets the tone here. This were your words , not mine. I would like to have seen you put your name here, rather than make it look like I have a problem.
