Guest guest
Iam having a problem with william and his weght can anyone tell me a way to get this child to gain some healthy weight? I look at food and it jusmps on me. I dont know if it is because he hypos. We havent had a hypo since his stay in the hospiytal for the bad treatment. He is 7 1/2 and weighs 50 pounds for the last year. He eats like a horse. The pharmscist says it is probabily is because his blood sugar isnt real controlled. He says it sounds like william is becoming brittle what ever that is. When wiliam hypos he goes down to 29 and if we dont stop the seizure from the hypo his blood sugar starts going up fast it can go to 400 in half an hour if not stopped. BUT if we give him juice or something when it first starts it holds arond 130 for about an hour then starts to drop. The nero thinks it will have to be controlled by a med of some type. The old endo said he is on his way to diabetis. The nero is trying to get him into this endo that does nothing but kids she says she thinks william will probabily be in the diabetic catagory but says she is not an endo and wants a 5 hour test done on him right away after the hospital problem. So far the hospital has taken all of williams past hospital bills and wiped them clean they have also made an offer of moneyto william through our attorney if we dont go to court. I go in monday to discuss how much it is on monday. As I told the attorney I wasnt after money I just wanted something done so noone will ever go through that again. But if they want to put money in williams name in an account I wont turn that down. is doing great cant wait for school to start. I hope everyone has a great 4 of july. Oh yeah the last endo said william is hypo with rebounding sugars. in Virginia
