Guest guest
Gail, Thanks for your words of support. I won't be at the symposium. I live in Alabama and am definitely not up to traveling at this time.

I managed somehow to get to Penn Station, feeling like a was drunk. Rather than fall, I decided to sit on the floor where two well meaning cops thought I was crashing from an overdose of drugs. Eventually one of them realized that what they were looking at was not needle tracks, but needle marks and going through my purse found my ID, called my husband That must have been the most terrifying experience of your life! I am so glad you finally were able to get a handle on the situation. Obviously, you and I are not even in the same ball park on the diabetes side of things. It is so good for you to share, because, although we both may be diabetics, mine is nothing even remotely close to yours. I actually could have even gotten away with a portion of speghetti, would have passed on the fruit unless it was pineapple because it is generally in it's own juice. I really would have brought my own though, as I am sure you do. I was just pointing out the difference in our needs. I can see why my recipes make you want to scream! You have my permission (like you needed it, LOL to delete tham all) I will continue to search for things you may be able to eat. ;-) Hugs, marilyn Marilyn Moderator for Diabetic_Recipes dnevessr@...
