We often have chicken, fish or beef with salad or green beans or broccoli. I

fix him a potato if he wants it. I like stir frys - no carrots - referring

to an earlier post about munching on carrots. For snacks I have SF popsicles

(15 calories, 3 carbs), cheese, nuts and I have recently tired lots of other

new LC items on the market now. Some work, some don't. I can't eat any fruit

or fruit juices at all. I test frequently. If I want to snack and my numbers

are higher than I like, I won't eat. I'll have a diet coke and wait until

they come down. This is not will power, it is pure fear.

Can you eat grape tomatoes? I have been able to eat a whole bowl for dinner

when noone wanted a meal and see no rise on the bg's. I have a friend on

GotDiabetes who also can do it. Might be worth a try. She is a kidney

reciepient

and is very closely monitored. Hugs, M
