Guest guest
When I was diagnosed with diabetes (2) I had no symptoms. I did not have excessive thirst or out of the ordinary urge to urinate. I was not tired and I have no problem healing. I did and do have a great difficulty in losing weight although I have been eating correctly both in type of food and quantity for many years. Two routine blood tests for other things showed fasting sugar levels over 180. I was stunned. I was put on glucophage which disagreed with me terribly. I found some dietary support formulas in health food and herbal stores and began taking them. My numbers improved. I started adding fiber to my diet, lots of it and the numbers continued to improve. Lastly I was given glucophage again but the extended release pill and that did just fine. I only take one a day. From reading the posts I decided to see exactly what was happening before and after eating for two days. My levels are highest in the morning usually but they no longer exceed 110... during the day I will be anywhere between 90 and 110. Usually at bedtime I am around 100. Tonight I had an enormous dinner ( of all allowable foods) and watched as the number went up to 138 and back down. My question is..... what does a normal persons blood sugar level do? What would be a typical day of values for them? Gail
