Guest guest
just flooding the board in the wee hours another friend of mine is on the zone. i've tried a couple of meals and had good b.g. results, but i don't think i'd be comfortable with a total low carb diet. i think you are right about not wanting carb starvation. when you read about the human digestion system and cardiovascular healt and everything, well, i find low carb very disturbing. most esp. with diets like atkins where they encourage ketosis. seems to me the prob. is relative. so much highly refined carb in huge portions gets dished up. so one wants lower than that...but to want to actually go low, low carb that is...seems entirely another thing to me. ok. cheers! rach > In a message dated 7/11/2004 11:33:34 PM Pacific Standard Time, > Hi Rach, I never heard of a minimum, but i know it does take carbs for brains > to function well, that is the problem with low carb diets. Hi Rach, I had three for a while, all different. They all gave me different readings. My doctor said keep the newest, and get rid of the others. I did, now they don't bug me!
