Guest guest
, You have written very strongly on here. I am not a moderator but a person with diabetes who wants to be in touch with others who are going through the same or similar things as I am. Everyone is entitled to our opinions, I do not recall where you are from but as you say it is an international group here. However, I don't think that it is Marilyn's intention to " push " US stuff down everyone's throat. I think she is just going with what she knows which happens to be based from US sources? As said, I want to be able to be supported in all ways possible for my well being which includes financially, intellectually, supportively, physically, mentally and spiritually. I find that there are many in this group who strives for the same things. I don't believe that people on this list are religious " activists, " we are just believers of christ, Jehovah, Yahweh, Allah, etc. The recipes are a wonderful asset to many in this group. If you don't like it, don't even open it. That is your choice. That way, you won't have to feel that you are having something " forced " down your throat. Just hit the delete button if you don't like the subject line. I am still new to this group and not even sure who are all the mods in this group but I think they are doing a great job. Bottom line is, if you don't like this group, unjoin. That is your option. Peace, and may God bless you. Marilyn, who are " they " ? The name of this group includes the word " international " - why do you persist in pushing US methods, US manners US recipes (using US ingredients), US politics and US religion at us as if we were all the same and all in agreement with you? Don't you have just a little tolerance for opinions other than your own? > I hope this has shown you if you > want to debate, do it off list > where it does not throw a minkey > wrench into their thought patterns. No, of course it hasn't - this is the place to debate diabetes, not a cooking group or a place for political and religious activists! Don't you think that perhaps it would be more appropriate, Marilyn, if you would take your recipes, politics and religion off this diabetes list, my dear, or at least tone them down a little instead of trying to shout everybody else down and dictate other people's " thought patterns " ? I see that you are out to be quarrelsome so I will back off until the list owner clarifies who it is that sets the tone here. > Marilyn > Moderator for > Diabetic_Recipes I don't understand why you are trying to pass yourself off as moderator, Marilyn, and trying to moderate this list. This signature is totally misleading. Only one person has been introduced here as moderator and it wasn't you.
