Hi, yes dehydration is a big cause of leg cramps. Because of my kidney

transplant, I have to go to the bathroom about every two hours. The new

kidney doesn't yet know it's supposed to hold on to urine LOL It'll grow

smarter as time goes on.

So I have leg cramps quite a bit if I don't drink alot. Also, potassium,

magensium & calcium are important. I found that the quinnine gave me

ringing in the ears & dizziness so I can't take it.

> Evening all, been watching this thread work it's way through , I have

found that when I start having leg cramps, I have needed more water in my

system, and also I eat a banana, for the potassium.. My husband has leg

cramps too, and the doctor prescribed quinine pills for him, I understand

that you can get tonic water with quinine that is suppose to help too..
