Guest guest
Hi all, My name is billijo. I am a 57 year old female. I am a bit confused about the whole diabetes thing. I was diagnosed with type II in the last month. I am working with my PCP and a Diabetes Educator. This is so new I won't have a meter or strips till next week. I did jump head first into the recommended food plan. The problem is I am or have been anorexic for 20+ years. This makes the food plan a major challenge!!! Could the anorexia and not eating mask diabetes??? Over the years I made the ER cause I passed out do to low levels or hypo. Since following the food plan I seem to bouncing from over 210 to 60. (this when ever I get to a friends to check levels on her meter) I seem to drop low and get dizzy could this be because I have eliminated sugar from my coffee(use fat free 1/2 and 1/2 too)? I know there may not be an answer till I do regular testing. Just want to run it by the group!!!! Maybe a day at time I will gain so insight and learn to manage the diabetes!!! billijo wolfgrrrl productions fine art photography and graphics 1117 clinton ave south rochester new york 14620
