Ingestion of fish or sea food or other tainted food recently and possible some

mercury in teeth?

Ion test by metametrix

I just got an ion test by metametrix, it says I am deficient in some

stuff but, they also checked for mercury(unchallenged) and there

reference range was <0.005 and I got 0.001 for mercury, its been like

half an year since my last exposure, my question is why would it be

still in my blood wouldn't all the mercury be in my brain by now? I

was going to proceed in ALA but now worried cause there seems to be

some in my blood? Any comments would be helpful, and is 0.001 a lot

in blood when the test was unchallenged?

Also consider inhalation from air pollution such as being downwind from coal

burning power plants, broken florescent lights, etc. I suspect that in some

areas it is impossible to get away from being exposed to mercury.

if you have amalgam fillings, don't use ALA.

I don't remember if you do or not.

With 1/2 year since last exposure, it is unlikely that ALA

would be a problem. If you are concerned about it, start

with DMSA or DMPS.

If I am in an area like that would it be pointless to chelate, or

should I just go ahead with the dmsa, now I plan to do dmsa for like

two months before ala

Of course it wouldn't be pointless. You need to support your liver, though.

I live in Alaska and the air quality is bad in arctic temps cause exhaust

just hangs in the air. Jeanie

That isn't much. It is OK to use ALA now.
