Guest guest
I would be interested in learning more about that for a friend of mine please. That Dog sound amazing ;-0 Thanks -- Look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred-and-first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not the last blow that did it, but all that had gone before. -- A. That Dog sound amazing ;-0 Thanks Hi , again! LOL I am not sure what you are curious about, so I will tell you about Bear. Bear was a rescue dog. He was one step away from the pound when he came to live with us. He is very connected to his Daddy! He is large, a newfoundland. Lots of long black hair, kind of like a black St, Bernard, maybe a little smaller. He likes to sit by his Daddy, and look sad at him, then Daddy pets his head. As soon as Dad;s hand is extended, Bear loops his paw over his Dad's hand, thus creating a " holding on " effect. He self taught himself to know when Don needs a jump start. We were not sure when he first figured out that Don needed help, but it worked, thus reinforcing the behavior. I had him certified as a Service Dog because of his abilities. He is with Don 24/7. Once when I was grocery shopping, Don had a spell, called 911, and Bear had to be locked away because they could not work on Don. Bear just got between them. Good thing they carry doggie treats and it worked! He is 5 years old now, and as sweet as a sugar cube, as long as you don't want to get between him and his family!
