Hi Joe,

I want to reply to your comments about managing glucose levels. it is

not just about what one eats, but how much and what time, stress, fatigue,

illness can all have their effects. For example I am on prednson and

antibiotics due to a bacterial infection in my lungs and asthma, today my

blood sugar has been from 140 to over 400. I am havingto monitor every few

hours and adjust medication often.

In answer to your question about exercise. I use a gazelle, similar to

a ski machine, and i also do tai chi.

e from Georgia,

Blood sugars in the 200 range are not good. Glucophage does not

normally cause a lot of lows, although things like glyberide and glyizide

have done so in my experience. Good luck to you.
