Guest guest
Hi I just got a message from school and the teachers said they are all ready for me to come in and let them know what they need to do and have to make school life easy for william. His principal is putting in a small cooler so we can keep cold juice and has sent me a letter to give to his ped so the school nurse can take his bloodsugar or for his teacher in case william cant to help save me a trip in. His main teacher is a diabetic so that will help with his bloodsugar. She has suggested the same thing for him to have a snack after recess and gym. I made the endocrineologist upset with me I told him I wanted copies of the test results and I would be there on Thuresday to pick them up. I thought this would be good for the new endo to have. He has an appt. with the nerologist on Thuresday so I will be in the same building. It is nice to tell her other then the hypo problems william has not had a granmal seizure in 1 year. We are all excited about that. School starts the 30 and he cant wait. So now I have to educate 6 different teachers on how to tell if wiliam is haveing a seizure due to a hypo or a or an epilepsy seizure not to hard he is completely unconsious with a gran mal and not when he starts to hypo. I have step by step directions on what to do and a walkie talkie goes with him that stays with me so they have immediate contact with me. Now that we know for sure about the hypos and the rebounding sugars at least we have a place to start to help him. I hope everyone is safe and doing well today, in Va
