Guest guest
Hey all, Jamez here. Some of the members have mentioned the differences in types of diabetes and, apparently, it is causing a degree of reticence for some of our members to put up a post. Going 'silent' is not helping anyone, and that is why we are all here-to help each other. As a result, a new policy of asking members to state their type is being put into place. I am now asking new members when I send out a welcome letter to let us know who they are and what type. For those of us already here, feel free to let us all know your type, if you like. The idea of this board is not to make each other feel uncomfortable or out of place. Want to see who is in your category? Go to the poll section and look at the survey. While you are there, vote on your own type. It's about sharing information. Can't share if you don't participate. The poll will help you to learn more about yourself and those whom you have more in common with. We are all in this together and we can all learn something from each other. Hopefully, this will aid in cutting down on some of the misunderstandings and controversy. The dis-ease provides enough of that without any help from us. We are listening to what is being said and taking your opinions on how to improve the board for the benefit of all. As moderator, I thank you for all of the helpful suggestions you have been providing to assist with the quality of information provided and the growth of ADI. Kudos to you all!
