Guest guest
Hi , I think she may just be the right person to guide you. She seems caring and willing to put the time in to set things right. That itself is a God send. She wants me to change endos she is like the ped they think he may need a different route because just diet isnt handleing it all. We are lowering the seizure meds again. This always scares me. But I would love for him to be off them completely. She listens to william and when he says he isnt ready to go lower she has me stop and waits untill he is ready. I love that she listens to him and picks up clues as to how he feels about things. I would not solely rely on a child this age for all his medical decisions, for sure, but I would listen for how he feels without a doubt. He is ok now he says he will never go back in for another mri again and I assured him he will never go back to that hospital. I dont mind driving the extra hour to get to a better hospital. He wouldnt have gone to that hospital but it was the only place with a free eeg and mri at the same time. Because emergencys can happen, I would be careful about broad sweeping promises to him. He is obviously a bright child, and will understand if we have to use this hospital....But if we have notice ahead, and it is not an emergency, we will use the other hospital. Iam so greatful that the stranger heard me yelling and came running with something to help me. It shows me there is still some decensey in this world. Its the same thing I would have done for someone else. , God is very good at putting people where we need them, isn't He? Yes, there are many caring people are out in the world around us, eager and willing to give us a hand. We all must be ready to give as we receive though! ;-) Many hugs, Marilyn Thanks for careing I dont feel so alone with all of you out there.
