Hi Marilyn,

That's a good way to look at it, "This too shall pass." I need to remind myself of that...Hope your having a great weekend.

Love

Lu

His last and final project was when he wanted to plumb a tiolet in the basement and every time he flushed it the water would come "upstairs" into my laundry room. That was the final straw, after that incident I called a plumber. I know how you must feel after all the clean up work!! This too shall pass. Or so they say.

How says I have time for myself!LOL I try to make

time. I fit it in between everything. I am also

lucky because it doesn't take much to entertain me.

Give me a needle and thread, a crossword and a pencil

or just about anything. Also I like to do things

outdoors. I can't spend as much time as I would like

out there due to I normally burn and peel. It is even

worse now with the meds but I bundle up and go out

anyway.

The sun is suppose to rejuvinate you but I have the

opposite problem. When I stay out in the sun it is

like it drains me. I think it is the meds because I

used to be able to stay out in it all day as long as I

was covered up. Not anymore!LOL Maybe it is a good

thing that I live in Oregon!LOL

I wished you lived closer I would come to pester you

once in awhile!LOL Maybe someday! It isn't that far

to Washington from here! :o) Maybe someday we will

have to have a west coast get together. It will be

awhile because I don't think I have the ambition that

Heidi does! :o)

I will send some good thoughts and prayers your way so

you will find time or get the ambition to enjoy

something yourself! I know what it is like to have a

lump for a son! :o) Ours moved to Michigan and we

have only heard from him once and that was 2 weeks

after he got there. Nothing since!

Take care and know I will be thinking of you!

Lots of Love

Morning,

The sun is actually up here. For how long who knows.LOL As far as

legs and feet go, it doesn't matter what I do they are going to

hurt. I have tried that!LOL Sitting they swell and standing they

swell. I have the room done as far as the moving for awhile. I just

want to get Shae's room painted. Marilyn I know what you mean about

kids and junk they collect. Our son told everybody he moved out

because we didn't agree with his lifestyle.LOL We told him before he

moved that with my health we couldn't have the house in an uproar all

the time. Also that he was going to have to start helping out around

the house. Taking the garbage out to the curb once a week just

wasn't going to cut it! I think he moved out because he didn't want

to work around the house. Oh well I am sure he is not paying $200.00

a month to live where he is now!LOL Some day he will see how easy he

had it here.(maybe) Who knows what it is with kids today. I

couldn't wait to get out from under my parents wings.LOL I moved out

when I was 17yrs. old. It sure didn't take me long to know what I

was missing either.LOL

Take care it will get better!

Lots of Love

Very interesting . At the price of them, it is good to keep it where

you won't lose it! LOL Tacky, but did your dr tell you that in the event of

your demise, to instruct the dr to give it back to your wife? They cost about

30K the last time I heard, and they sterilize the titanium and pecycle them,

so they should not be left for a mortician to harvest and sell. I know the

pump brought Don back from the edge, literally. They are so important for

people

who live in intense pain constantly. Hugs, marilyn

What I would do is bake my favorite sweet nut-bread, cut it into small

pieces, and dehydrate it in a slow oven or dehydrator. Then serve with

almond milk.

I have no idea how long the almond milk would last, as I have never made

any.

I'm not Marilyn but I'm going to chime in anyway :). Why? Because a couple

years ago, when I was complaining to my bf about how much I missed grapenuts, he

came up with a cereal for me! I'd made this scd cake that I didn't really like.

I was getting sick of all the cakes I made tasting like almond flour so I made

this cake, thinking it would be different. It wasn't. I gave it to my guy

because I just didn't want to eat it. He took it to his place, crumbled it up

and put it in the dehydrator overnight. In the morning he had slightly

sweetened " grapenuts. " Now, they get soggy a lot faster than regular cereal but

that's what I do - bake an scd cake (maybe with less honey) and then crumble it

up and dehydrate! It's fabulous! I'll go through periods where it's all I want

to eat every meal. And yeah, almond milk lasts about 3-5 days. Mine never

makes it that long though :)
