I'm diabetic also and decided I had to do something. You can get on this after the by pass is done. First things first. I wish you the very best. I decided on the Animas IR1200. Hopefully will have within a week. I have been married for 16 yrs and have two boys, 13 and 3. I look forward to meeting everyone and hearing all the posts.
