Guest guest
Hallo Jim, > I just got my hair analysis back and my mercury levels are very high (no > surprise to me). It's very rare and doctors want no > part of it. Have anyone out there gotten DMSA treatment in Canada (or any > treatment for that matter)? Does anyone know of a place that specializes in > Mercury Poisoning? There seems to be a lot of hype on the internet, but > little help. Okay, Jim, here is my attempt regarding the doctor issue, LOL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/files/HOW_TO_find_doctor Please read and let me know what you think. If you can tell me what to add to the resources listed, I'd also welcome that. Perhaps this can help direct you to some possible practitioners. > Any help would be greatly appreciated. Well, this may start to sound a bit odd (several of us saying about the same thing), but, personally, I subscribe to the " Andy Cutler school of chelation " . Here is some info on his protocol: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/files/Andy_dose_sched http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/files/ANDY_INDEX I chelated myself for 1.5 years with alpha lipoic acid, which is sold all over the place, OTC. Many people use DMSA or DMPS along with the ALA. See the files above for more info. If you want more reading material, you can also look here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/files/ Beyond this, my comment is that I will TRY to be helpful just as soon as you will write more about what you need help with. (I am being serious, this is not a " flip " comment.) I find that questions help direct me to what to talk about---- and without them I don't have much idea what to say. Questions also often make it clear that I DON " T have anything helpful to add, so then I say nothing....... by the way, welcome to the group. best wishes, Moria
