Andy, I'm sorry you feel that way and feel perhaps you misinterpreted

what I wrote, to some extent. I greatly appreciate your response, however.

I'm glad, at least, you said " possibly " as to be very clear:

I am NOT mixing advice (from people/sources like Ray, others, etc.)

and don't at all trust my current (pro-DMPS/etc) " specialist " (NON-HMO)

who at least acknowledges I have heavy metals poisoning.

Please note: To be sure...

YOUR info is the ONLY info I have EVER trusted, and followed,

to the best of my ability, since early 2000. And I have told COUNTLESS

people that fact, who can confirm it, as some are on this list.

True, I have tried to run ALL seemingly pertinent info (some of which is

conflicting, confusing, and perhaps not dealt with - to my knowIedge) past

you (and general list membership, as I did not see your posts for such a long

time).

> then want me to sort it out for you

Guilty of that. I recognize and honor (and recommend) your expertise in this

area, and I am now 2 years post amalgam/fish intake, have some residual

problems, and am trying to resolve them.

Sorry, but I was trying to figure out why I never hear from you anymore

(hardly)

whereas during 2000 and half of 2001 I could count on your relatively quick

if terse commentary/response. I see now you're much busier than I understood.

It was the timing of my " 1st ALA report " and someone's immediate flaming

and then not hearing from you that (seeing how so many others get that way

on another list) made me question it. And I only questioned, not assumed.

> Please also note that you are in essence claiming to have gotten much

NOT AT ALL. It helped a LOT. As far as I can tell. I have NO measurable

Hg/Pb/As in DMSA challenged urine as of a few months ago. I seem to be

able to tolerate sulfur bearing foods quite well now. My testosterone and

free T-3

are in normal limits now (although I do supplement testosterone at times).

I still am quite confused/ignorant, however, on issues of glutathione,

cysteine,

and methionine (arrythymias) and bothered yet by chronic gut/sinus symptoms.

I figure that these are more the " damage " to focus on healing vs the former

" toxicity " .

I am also still confused as to whether, after 2 years no Hg intake, I can now

take ALA alone and not be bothered. I had a tough ALA experienece the 1st

time,

and a good one the 2nd time, and this was due to your recommendation to cut

the dosage WAY down, due I suppose to the reactions to it resulting from my

15 years of eating the worst fish and lots of them.

> want much MORE information. I already gave you the best information I

> have. If it isn't working

I didn't say it's not, I think it is. Where did you ever think I said that.

As far

as I'm concerned, your help has been significant and very valuable.

But true... there is some more I could use and be very grateful for, as

I'm at the current stage of recovery, if I can mobilize it better, as I wish

to.

As do/would I.

> " stir the pot to watch it boil, "

Consider that a compliment, as I needed to hear from you, but I will

be careful not to do that again.

> I can sometimes take a looooong time to respond

OK

I read them all , by the way.

Thanks for your response. I hope this helps clear the air and makes some

amends,

where such are necessary and appropriate, and that I can perhaps hear from

you sometime, at your convenience, on issues of " getting better " (re my

particular situation, as well as info of yours I have passed on to countless

others, along with your book info/website)

Regards,

Sandy Schoenfeld
