Guest guest
went to see the nurse educator. read this thing about not injecting air into your insulin vials when on a plane, and she confirmed it's not something you want to do. she said the procedure was to: 1. pull the plunger out of your syringe. 2. stick the needle part of the syringe into the vial. this will equalize the pressure. 3. pull the needle part out and replace the plunger, pushing it all the way in. 4. stick the syringe in the vial again, without injecting air, and draw up. 5. when on the ground again, pull the plunger out again and stick the needle part into the vial to re-equalize the pressure. pull needle out. rach
