Hi Faith!

I have the same kind of tingling/numbness with my feet, and the

doctor said it was from the poor circulation, and could be the start

of neuropathy, and suggested that i gain tighter control of my

sugars, and that seems to have helped a great deal for me.

Take care!

Hi Faith - I agree with . I can tell if my sugars are high (for me that is

150-160) because I start tingling and sometimes itch. Once my sugars are down,

it goes away. I also try and keep tight control so it doesn't happen very often.

You can reverse the numbness and tingling if you get your BGs down. Try testing

when you have those sensations and see what your BGs are. Bet they are up

there.

Hi Faith

I'm 53 now and have had diabetic since I was 39. I take diabetic as a delaying

game. It has specific onsets of ailments and neuropathy is one of them.

'Wambo1941' has given a very good account of the condition.

However, the better we take care of ourselves, the more delayed is the onsets.

As for neuropathy, I am also experiencing the phenomenon: numbness, tingling

sensation, etc. The first step I took was to take a tighter control of my sugar

level. This meant taking measurements, adjusting my menu for controlled

carbohydrate and more physical exercises like brisk walks. In addition I also

undergo treatment on Dr Philips' Rebuilder TM machine - an electronic devise +

special electrolytes that help to check or even rejuvenate the nerves.
